Under Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), acting as the data controller we wish to inform you about the processing of your personal data.
Your personal data is processed by the data controller operating the Etkinlik Anılarım service, within the scope described in this notice.
Your identity and contact details along with uploaded visual/audio content are processed to provide the service, to build and deliver the gallery, and to meet legal obligations. Uploaded content is permanently deleted exactly 30 days after the gallery is delivered.
Your data is processed based on the conclusion and performance of a contract and legitimate interest; it is shared only with suppliers required by the service, such as payment and hosting providers, to the extent necessary.
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may exercise your rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data through our support channel.
For organizer account data (name, email) Etkinlik Anılarım is the data controller. However, for the photos/videos uploaded by guests and guest information, the actual data controller is the organizer who runs the event; Etkinlik Anılarım acts as a 'data processor' in technically hosting and serving this content. The obligation to provide the required disclosure and obtain explicit consent for processing guests' personal data lies with the organizer.
Users accept that the content they upload may contain personal data of third parties (such as other guests) and that they have obtained the necessary permissions for such uploads. For access or deletion requests from such persons, Etkinlik Anılarım reserves the right to mask, redact or partially fulfil the request in order to protect the privacy of other persons.
To provide the service without interruption, your data is shared — in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, based on the performance of the contract and only to the extent necessary — with cloud storage, hosting, email and payment service providers that have taken the required technical and administrative measures. Some of these providers' servers may be located abroad.
In line with Article 12 of the KVKK, Etkinlik Anılarım takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to secure access and data movements in the system. In the event of a possible data breach, notification is made to the affected persons and to the Personal Data Protection Board as soon as possible after the situation is learned and within the periods prescribed by law (per Board regulations, within 72 hours at the latest).
You may submit your requests under Article 11 of the KVKK (including access, correction, deletion, transfer and objection to processing) through the support channel on the site or via your registered email address. Your requests are concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on their nature. You also have the right to request the content you uploaded in a commonly used, machine-readable format (data portability) before the 30-day retention period expires.
